The cost for each exam this year is FREE to all Cloverleaf students. This year the exams are being paid for by the district.

Exam registrations must be completed by: Friday, May 5, 2023.  Any student who does not register by this date will still be required to take the AP exams for each AP class they are enrolled and the fee from the test (97$) will only be applied if the student does not take the exam.

PSAT/NMSQT

PSAT/NMSQT 2023

When: Date will be in October of 2023 TBD

Where: Cloverleaf High School

Who Should Take the PSAT?

  • Accelerated Sophomores

The PSAT/NMSQT is a preparatory test for the SAT.  As a sophomore, you are not eligible for the scholarship competition this year, but the experience gained from taking the PSAT could be valuable during your junior year when you do become eligible for the National Merit Competition.  This is great practice for college entrance tests. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED FOR COLLEGE BOUND SOPHOMORES!

  • Juniors    (Preliminary SAT/ National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test)

The PSAT/NMSQT is a preparatory test for the SAT (College Admissions Test). The PSAT measures critical reading, mathematical reasoning and writing skills that are important for success in college. The tests cover knowledge and skills developed through years of study in a wide range of courses. It also tests the ability to reason with facts and concepts rather than the ability to recall them.

Why take the test?

  1.  Qualify for participation in the National Merit Scholarship program which is a 4 year renewable scholarship if you become a National Merit Scholar winner.

  2. Qualify for other Corporate Sponsored Scholarships or Enrichment Programs that use the PSAT results. (See your Student Guide - students will receive one once they have registered)

  3. Find out what the SAT (College Admissions Test) is like before you take it.

How to register?    To register go to: The cost for the test is TBD. This is a first come first serve basis, so sign up as soon as possible.  Students have until October 1st to sign up.

Fee waivers are available to 11th grade students who qualify for free and/or reduced lunch.

Please meet with your School Counselor if you have any questions regarding the PSAT.
