Cloverleaf Students are able to participate in CCP through any university or college of their choosing. The following two schools, University of Akron and Ashland University, are popular choices with Cloverleaf students. See the information below for Ashland and Akron.
Cloverleaf High School partners with Ashland University to offer CCP courses in our building taught by our teachers. To enroll at Ashland University for CCP please note the following information:
For the 2022-23 school year, applicants will be able to select whether they want their standardized test scores to be included or excluded from the admission review process. Updated enrollment information will be provided as it comes available for the 2022-2023 school year.
Option #1 - Traditional admission requirements (WITH test scores):
- 2.50+ GPA
- Appropriate score from the ACT, SAT, or Accuplacer:
- 18 ACT composite, or
- 960 SAT, or
- ONE of the following Accuplacer scores: WritePlacer, 5; Reading, 250; or QAS (math), 263
Option #2 - Admission WITHOUT test scores:
NOTE: Admission to the program does not guarantee placement in a course. Students must be able to satisfy any placement and prerequisite requirements for each course. The CCP coordinator will help students with this at the time of registration.
- For 7th and 8th graders who do not yet have a high school GPA, we will calculate a GPA based on their core courses (math, English, science, and social studies), and use that to determine admission.
- Since test scores will not be needed for admission, we will continue to pause all Accuplacer testing; however, if a student has Accuplacer scores from another college that they would like to use, we will accept them.
Cloverleaf High School has a Distance Learning Lab ON CAMPUS! Students are able to take a variety of courses offered by The University of Akron in the Distant Learning Lab. See below for more information regarding taking CCP classes with Akron.
