College Credit Plus (CCP) is a program that allows students to be enrolled in both high school and college coursework at the same time. The following links provide more information about the CCP process.
In order to participate in CCP students need to:
- Fill out an Intent to Participate by April 1 of every year the student wishes to participate
- Participate in a training & counseling about CCP
- Verify that the parent/guardian and student completed the training/counseling (linked here). This is required one time only for each student/family.
- Apply to the college or university of choice.
- Student requests a transcript to be sent to the college/university

Cloverleaf Students can participate in CCP through any university or college they choose. The following schools, Ashland University, The University of Akron, and OSU ATI, are popular choices with Cloverleaf students. See the information below for those schools.
Cloverleaf High School partners with Ashland University to offer CCP courses taught by our teachers in our building. To enroll at Ashland University for CCP please note the following information:
For the 2024-25 school year, applicants can select whether they want their standardized test scores to be included or excluded from the admission review process.
Option #1 - Traditional admission requirements WITH test scores: - 2.50+ GPA
- Appropriate score from the ACT, SAT, or Accuplacer:
- 18 ACT composite, or
- 960 SAT, or
- ONE of the following Accuplacer scores: WritePlacer, 5; Reading, 250; or QAS (math), 263
Option #2 - Admission WITHOUT test scores:
NOTE: Admission to the program does not guarantee placement in a course. Students must be able to satisfy any placement and prerequisite requirements for each course. The CCP coordinator will help students with this at the time of registration.
- For 7th and 8th graders who do not yet have a high school GPA, we will calculate a GPA based on their core courses (math, English, science, and social studies), and use that to determine admission.
- Since test scores will not be needed for admission, we will continue to pause all Accuplacer testing; however, if a student has Accuplacer scores from another college that they would like to use, we will accept them.
- The deadline to apply is May 15
