Students take top honors in state firefighting competition
CHS and Medina County Career Center seniors Daniel Dennis and Ethan Siman took first and second places, respectively, in the firefighting segment of the Ohio SkillsUSA Competition. Dennis will represent the state of Ohio in the national competition in Louisville, Kentucky, in June. 
Martin earns award in video contest
Cloverleaf High School junior Michael Martin earned a second-place award in the 2015 Stomp Out Suicide Youth Video Contest, sponsored by the Medina County Coalition for Suicide Prevention. 
Parents raise funds for new wrestling room
Thanks to the generosity of community members and local businesses, Cloverleaf wrestlers soon will have a new facility of their own – constructed at no cost to district taxpayers. 
Lodi Ruritan Club donates dictionaries
All 186 third-grade students at Cloverleaf Elementary School recently received new dictionaries, courtesy of the Lodi Ruritan Club.

New kindergarten readiness assessment
Beginning with the 2014-15 school year, the state of Ohio is adopting a new kindergarten readiness assessment. The assessment simply provides a starting point for each student and does not prohibit any child from entering kindergarten.
