Drama club is designed to teach basic stage skills to students interested in either performing or working behind the scenes. We work on audition skills, voice and speech, movement, and stage directions before having auditions for our show. All grades 6-8 can participate in drama club and audition for the play we perform in the spring. Drama club typically meets twice a week beginning in October and runs through the end of April. Students who are interested should join the Google Classroom to learn about meetings and auditions. The code is fmuzevu. For more information contact Jamie.Hottinger@cloverleaflocal.org.

Student Council is a group of 6th-, 7th- and 8th-grade students nominated by grade-level teachers and elected by their classmates to represent the student body. The group aims to give students a voice in decisions that affect the school, like planning events, organizing fundraisers, or working on school improvement projects. Being part of Student Council helps students develop leadership, teamwork, and communication skills. It’s also a way for students to make a positive impact on their school community, share ideas, and address issues that are important to their classmates. Meetings will take place on an as-needed basis, depending on upcoming events. Information about sign-ups will be on the announcements and emailed to students mid to late September with nominations/elections happening shortly thereafter.

Middle School Attendance Line: 330-302-0205. If your child will be absent from school or late for any reason, please call the attendance line before 9 a.m. If you forget to call the school, an automated call, email, or text will go out by 9:30 a.m. If you will be picking your child up early, please send a note the morning of, including their first and last name, and have them turn it in to the office in the morning. If you will be going on vacation anytime during the school year, please have your child get a vacation form from the office. This form must be filled out by a parent/guardian and then taken to all the student's teachers. This allows teachers to gather any homework that may be completed when the student is on vacation.

This marks the midway point of the first quarter. On Friday, each team had the students write down what their current grades are and if or how many missing assignments they have. The students wrote down the information and if they bring it back signed by a parent or guardian by Tuesday, October 1, they can receive a ticket for PBIS. Please ask your child about their grades. We encourage you to check Progress Book.
