Buckeye High School football player Mark Shevchenko suffered a serious lower-leg injury at Friday's Cloverleaf vs. Buckeye season-opener. Following successful surgery, Mark is doing well and is expected to make a full recovery. Thank you to the local first-responders and Cleveland Clinic sports medicine staff who treated him on the scene and who take such great care of our student-athletes. Best wishes to Mark for a speedy recovery!

It was a great night to welcome our Colts family to Cloverleaf Middle School and High School's open house!

Come watch 12 bands perform in the 2025 Cavalcade of Sound marching band competition. It takes place beginning at 5 p.m. Sept. 13 at Gene Clark Stadium. Tickets are $10 for adults and $7 for students K-12. Kids age 5 and under get in free.

Congratulations to Quinn for earning medalist honors at the George Valentine Invitational! The Colts finished the tournament fourth out of 12 teams.

-The Boys’ Varsity Tennis team will host Nordonia at 4 p.m. at the CHS Tennis Complex.
-The JV Baseball team will host Coventry, while the Varsity will travel to Coventry at 5 p.m.
-The Varsity Softball team will host Woodridge, while the JV will travel to Woodridge at 5 p.m.
-Also, the Boys’ and Girls’ Track teams will host Woodridge at 4:30 p.m.

The Cloverleaf Color Guard is looking for new members for the 2025 season. If you like to perform, act, or dance, color guard could be for you! The Color Guard is accepting new members from grades 7-11. Clinics begin on April 21st from 3-6 p.m. in Gym C. Check out the Color Guard Google Classroom for more information. The Varsity Baseball team picked up their first MAC win of the season with a 15-1 win at home last night against Coventry in 5 innings. Troy Hlucky doubled and had 3 RBI, while Noah Lindemuth singled and knocked in 3 runs to lead the Colts. Logan Knapp singled and doubled and had 2 RBI, Clinton Fauss singled and scored twice, Austin Sustersic doubled and knocked in 2 runs, Jimmy Tolley scored 3 times, and Peyton Gregoire and Carson Baltic each had two hits in the win. Gehrig Miller improved to 2-1 on the season as he allowed just one run and struck out 2.
