Elisabeth Hilton: Kiwanis Student of the Month 

Senior Elisabeth Hilton has been selected as the Medina Kiwanis May Student of the Month for Cloverleaf High School. Hilton is vice president of National Honor Society and a player on the national championship-qualifying Quiz Bowl team. She is also involved with Junior Leadership Medina County, the Cloverleaf Crescendo Show Choir, and is a member of the Washington Youth Summit on the Environment Youth Advisory Board.  

Hilton has taken or is enrolled in Advanced Placement government, biology, language and composition, calculus, and literature, along with College Credit Plus Molecular Cell Basis of Life, Introduction to Biotechnology, Elementary Spanish I, and Elementary Spanish II. In addition, she has spent more than 50 hours tutoring other students through the NHS tutoring program and has logged volunteer hours for Cloverleaf Safety City and other events. Hilton is also employed by Dairy Queen.

Honors and awards received by Hilton include being on the honor roll and receiving an academic letter each year, the Remote G.O.A.T. award during COVID-19 online learning, varsity letter in Quiz Bowl, and the National Rural and Small Town Award presented by the College Board.

Elisabeth is the daughter of Cheryl and Jeremy Hilton. She plans to attend George Mason University as an Honors College student to study environmental science and biology. In spring of 2024, she will participate in Global Gateway and study abroad at Curtin University in Australia. For her junior and senior year of college, she has been accepted to study at the Smithsonian-Mason School of Conservation.
