Food resources available

For Families with Cloverleaf Students

March 23, 2020

A Message from Superintendent Daryl Kubilus:

I want to let you know of a small change to our Tuesday student food distribution plan. As you know, we distributed food last Tuesday in seven different locations throughout the district. In order to better facilitate the high volume of meals we intend to distribute, we have changed to one central distribution point at our Cloverleaf Elementary School for this Tuesday and all succeeding Tuesdays from 5:30 to 7 p.m.

We ask that cars enter on the north drive on Friendsville Road. The distribution will be set-up in a drive-through style. For the safety of everyone, we ask that nobody leave their vehicle. We will distribute five breakfasts and five lunches for any Cloverleaf student who needs it -- free of charge.

Our elementary students who receive weekly Weekender food bags will continue to do so. We will be home-delivering the bags by Friday of each week school is not in session. This includes the week of spring break.

I would also like to remind everyone  there is a Feeding Medina County free food distribution for families at the Medina County Fairgrounds parking lot the next three Thursdays at 7:30 a.m. For safety reasons, everyone will remain in their cars and the food will be brought to you based upon how many members are in your family. Please spread the word about this food giveaway because it is intended for all Medina County residents.

If you need help with food, please call us at 330.302.0305. We will get through these difficult times together.

I hope everyone is doing well and staying safe. I know this is not the spring break our students and their families had envisioned, but every day gets us one day closer to eventually seeing each other again. Take care of yourselves and take care your family.

Thank you.
