Cloverleaf Elementary school counselors are available to help students reach their highest potential in the areas of academic, personal/social, and career development.  To achieve this, school counselors provide a program of many services including:

  • Classroom & group guidance lessons
  • Short-term individual counseling
  • Short-term small group counseling
  • Short-term crisis counseling
  • Individual and small group appraisal
  • Individual and small group advisement
  • Referral assistance to outside community programs and services
  • Consultation & collaboration with parents/guardians, teachers, school personnel, administrators, and community members
  • Professional development

By means of these services, school counselors address students' developmental needs and concerns.  Common topics addressed include study skills, organizational skills, feelings, behavior, coping skills, bullying, grief/loss, divorce, decision making, self-esteem, friendship, conflict resolution, and many more.
