EXCITING NEWS! ACT HELP! Scholarships available!
Your students can count on higher ACT scores for college admission and scholarships! A local ACT Prep course at Highland High School will help students boost ACT scores and stay competitive among their peers.

A five-week course is available:

            Highland ACT Prep Course: 6 to 8 p.m. Thursdays, starting April 25 and continuing through May 23 at Highland High School, 4150 Ridge Road, Medina. The five-session course costs $179 and includes materials.

            Students also can prep for the ACT in just one day. The workshops offer sessions packed with review and strategies to achieve higher scores.

            Cuyahoga Valley Career Center ACT Prep Workshop: 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., Saturday, May 11, at the Cuyahoga Valley Career Center, 8001 Brecksville Road, Brecksville.

Strongsville ACT Prep Workshop8 a.m. to 2 p.m., Saturday, May 18, at Strongsville High School, 20025 Lunn Road, Strongsville.

Each workshop costs $99 and includes lunch and materials.

Owner Laura Icardi of ACT Test Preparation first taught the course at the University of Akron before expanding throughout Northeast Ohio. In the courses, some students have averaged up to five-point increases on practice tests. Experienced instructors review skills in English and math, as well as test-taking strategies. Students also will solve problems in all subject areas.
