The Ohio Department of Health has new vaccine requirements for students entering 7th grade and 12th grade.
All 7th-graders must have one dose of the meningitis vaccine along with the Tdap vaccine. All 12th-graders must have two doses of the meningitis vaccine unless the first dose was given on or after the age of 16 (then only one dose of meningitis vaccine will be required). Students must show proof of this within 14 days of starting school.
Cloverleaf is offering a convenient vaccine clinic 10 a.m. to noon on Aug. 16 at Cloverleaf Middle School to help families meet these new guidelines.
