Model U.N. is an after-school program that creates a mock United Nations meeting. The students spend many hours researching a country and the problems it faces. The students then try to figure out a way that the United Nations can help.

At the mock United Nations meeting, other students from around Medina County listen to and decide if the United Nations will support the proposed resolution. This year the Medina County Educational Service Center chose three resolutions to be presented at the mock meeting and both groups from the middle school were chosen.

The students that participated were Olivia Eby and Katelyn Turnbaugh, who researched Africa. The other group consisted of Victoria Watkins, Emily Gladden, Sky Gill and Kaitlyn Bryant. They researched Mali.

These girls did a fantastic job and represented the middle school very well.
