Learn more about College Credit Plus

There will be a meeting at 6 p.m., Monday, Feb. 9 at CHS for any student interested in College Credit Plus (CCP), formerly known as Post-Secondary Enrollment Options Program (PSEOP) for the 2015-16 school year.

High school counselors and representatives from The University of Akron will present the following information:
• An overview of the new College Credit Plus Program
• Potential benefits and risks
• Requirements and qualifications
• Steps to follow to enroll in the program
This meeting is a REQUIRED meeting for any student (current 6th to 11th graders) intending to pursue College Credit Plus options for the 2015-16 school year. Both the student and the student’s parent/guardian are required to attend. You may come to the meeting to get the information necessary to make a decision on whether this option is for you. However, you do not have to pursue CCP after attending the meeting, but you do have to attend the meeting if you want to pursue CCP.
The majority of our CCP students in the past have attended The University of Akron either through the Distance Learning Lab here at Cloverleaf High School or the Main or Wayne campuses. We have had a few other post-secondary students at other institutions; such as Lorain Community College, Cuyahoga Community College and Ashland University. However, students are welcome to enroll in any higher education institution that they qualify for through CCP. For further information on college or university requirements for admission please visit specific higher education institution admission website you are interested in.
Feel free to contact Mrs. Froelich, school counselor and CCP coordinator, if you have further questions. 330-302-0332 or [email protected].
