CES raises $10,760 for cancer research

Each year, Cloverleaf Elementary School takes on a challenge to raise money for a charitable cause and to teach our students the value of compassion and generosity. In the past, we have raised money for organizations such as the Muscular Dystrophy Association, Crohn's & Colitis Foundation, Multiple Sclerosis Association, and the Children's Heart Foundation. This year, we took on the fight against cancer to support the American Cancer Society.

Students in grades K-5 collected donations from family and friends to participate in a 1-mile Walk/Run during their physical education class. T-shirts were also sold with our motto, "Cloverleaf kicks cancer of all colors." Together CES collected $10,760.63 to be donated! This money will go toward further research in hopes to find a cure!

We would also like to congratulate the top two classes that collected the most money: Mrs. Shaeffer's kindergarten class and Mrs. Riley's 5th grade class. These two classes have earned a pizza/donut party for their efforts!

Thank you to ALL who made this possible!
