The 7th/8th-grade Cloverleaf Middle School Academic Challenge team went a perfect 6-0 to win its bracket at the Copley-Fairlawn Middle School Academic Challenge Tournament in December. Contributing to the win were team members Abby Washinger, Atakin Kemp, Brooks Powalie, Chase Holderman, Joseph Charek and Thomas Vince.
The 6th-grade Academic Challenge team of Amy Washinger, Anne Lormeau, Brett Gucker, Ethan Vaughn, Graham Powalie and Liam Stephens also put forth a solid 5-2 record in its first competition to place third in its division.
