In its first year at Cloverleaf Middle School, the CMS Robotics Club has seen overwhelming interest and we need your help to purchase more LEGO MINDSTORM NXT Kits so that we can involve more students in the Robotics Club!

Science teacher Josh Boggs attended the Medina County Robotics Network Meeting on December 8th in the hopes of establishing a Robotics Club at the Cloverleaf Middle School. The Medina County Schools’ ESC loaned Cloverleaf 5 kits so that he could start his club. When Mr. Boggs introduced this exciting opportunity to the students, an enormous number of students jumped at the chance to join the club. Unfortunately, we have more students interested than we can possible involve with the materials currently available.

We believe that it is important to support programs that provide our students with opportunities to learn more about science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. With this objective in mind, we have decided to start a campaign to raise the funds needed to purchase additional LEGO MINDSTORM NXT Kits. Three more students will be able to join the Robotics Club when each additional kit is purchased. The kits, which cost $300.00, are reusable and will benefit students for years to come. If you would like to sponsor a kit or make a contribution to help purchase additional kits, please send your donation to the Cloverleaf Middle School’s Principal Account for Robotics.
